It is such a quaint community, there is plenty adventure to enjoy in Hopkins. Just minutes away lay the Glovers Reef Atoll, located on the barrier reef, which is ideal for snorkeling and diving. It is packed with vibrantly colored coral and marine life. Similarly, Tobacco Caye is nearby and provides a great fishing area.
If you want to stay inland there are many jungle trails, reserves and waterfalls nearby. The nearest waterfalls located at the Mayflower Bocawina National Park are only twenty minutes away from Hopkins. Also close by is the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, which is the only Jaguar preserve in the world.
